We Are Winners: Blogs by Teacher CJ Jones

I Corinthians 15:27-28

27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
We are winners! No matter what happens in your life, believe that you are winner. You may ask, “Why am I a winner? You don’t understand what I’ve done, or what I’ve been through.” I speaking especially to you, You Are a Winner. We win because we have the hope of God and in having that, we are steadfast. When situations come in our lives, we must trust in God. This is not a time to waiver and doubt, but be steadfast in your faith.
Faith without confession is very limited. So many are losing focus, be we must be steadfast, hold fast to our confession, past the persecution and past the fornication test. You see, God is going to bless you, but you have to be in the right place to receive the blessing. Holiness is the key to receiving what God has for you. You must possess apure heart and clean hands. Many “church folk” feel that they can live any kind of way and as long as they give their tithes once a year, shout every Sunday, and occasionally hug a sister or brother in Christ that this qualifies them for the blessing, God’s Shekinah Glory manifested on earth. This does not qualify you. Being steadfast is the key. Steadfast in what? We must be steadfast in the Word of God. Heaven and earth shall pass away, before His Word will return to Him void. Our lives should be lives of holiness everyday. We should love one another everyday. We should have faith the God is going to bring you out everyday; afterall, we are winners. Satan has already been defeated so why are you still trying to fight him?
Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him

As saints of God, we should not be ready to just give up. We should never be ready to throw in the towel. Our confession should be I’m an overcomer. We must speak that we are an overcomer, we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us. You must understand that it’s all about our faith. It’s not about you, but about your faith. Satan does not want you, but he wants your faith. Satan knows that without faith you can’t please God, so he tries to trip you up in your faith walk.
Remember this, as long as you are in this earth suit, you are going to miss the mark. There are sins of commission and sins of omission. We are all subject to sin especially when persecutions and trials come. Sinning does not mean that you are having sex, stealing, cheating. You sin when you don’t believe God at His Word. You sin when don’t trust Him so you hold back on your tithe. You sin when you begin to murmur and complain instead of praise God. You also sin when you refuse to walk in His love. Your daily confession must be persecutions will come, but the Lord will deliver me! Even Jesus was tempted and tested by Satan, but what did he do? Jesus stood on the Word of God. He did not have a pity party, but he said, “It is written…”
Satan is attempting to take out God’s people, but we must understand that there’s power in the Word of God. We must remind Satan what our Father says about us and our situation.
James 1:2-3

2My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
It is easy to complain when you are in the midst of your storm. It’s easy to speak negative, but we must take on anattitude of gratitude. Your confession should be, “Thank you Lord for choosing me to go through this test.” We must count it all joy. After all, this is only another way that God will show up and show Himself mighty. Worry and stressing about trials and temptations is enough to pull you out of hope by itself. You must understand that weeping may endure for a night, but joy is going to come in the morning. There is no situation, no circumstance that is to big for God. No matter how many failures, no matter how many doors close in your face, or how many mistakes, we are still able to overcome and prevail. We were destined to win. We won the race to be birthed in this world. Think about it, out of all those billions of sperm, you won the race. We defeated all odds by being born and then on top of all of that, we are still winning by living everyday. You may have to shed a tear every now and then, but look around at what God has already done for you. It is impossible to be steadfast without counting it all joy when we fall into temptation. See, the Bible don’t say, “you will never be tempted.” It plainly tells us that yes we will be tried, but we must count it all joy when we fall into temptation. Yes, you will fail while you’re being tempted at times, but count it all joy.
